I rode to Cornish the other day with the intention of purchasing your handlebar risers and ram ball mount for my Honda ST1300 and perhaps, I thought, meet the owner. As I parked my bike who should appear from around the corner? Harry Eddy, owner, whom I recognized from the internet. Salutations were exchanged, conversation ensued and then, get this, a personal tour of the entire manufacturing facility! Introductions to many, insight into new products and details about my particular application. I could not have imagined a better scenario. As good as this was, the next day sealed the deal. I installed the risers with relative ease and was off for a ride. Instantly I was more comfortable on the bike and the overall control was improved as well. The ram ball mount/location fits my Zumo 550 GPS perfectly and the riser modification does not interfere with the movement of my gas tank (for air filter replacement) nor require anything else. Bottom line: I had an excellent experience from the beginning to the end, Harry runs a professional business with great employees and most importantly his product works! I will encourage anyone with even the slightest discomfort or vexation to seriously consider Heli Modified.

I don't like your helibars, "I love em"! It's been awhile since you put them on in Myrtle Beach and I just enjoy them more every day. My friends will bring people over to show them. Let me tell you a story.

I had spent months trying to get a set of bars to make my bike fit me just that bit better.

Race bar clip on are two a penny, that was fine when I was a boy racer, but I want to ride on the street for more than 20 minutes now.

I sent an email to you, just like I had to many other companies. But, you stood by what you said. I was delighted when you contacted me to say the product was in production. I ordered it and within a week it was in my hands, within a week!!!!! I live on the other side of the world!!! Amazing part one.

I've got a 1997 TL1000s. This bike is great. All except the riding position. So I did some research on clip-ons. I found your website through TLZone.net. I was worried about the price but, I bought them anyway hoping for the best. I just put them on. Boy I am glad I went with them. The comfort is subtle yet noticeable. The install wasn't too bad, I did it myself. And I'm just a shade tree mechanic at best. I'm looking forward to many mroe miles in my new position.

Well it has now been a little over 1000 miles since I installed your new bar system on my 2008 FJR1300 and I couln't be happier. I waited this long to be sure it wasn't just "the new thing" feeling you get from changing something on my bike. From the moment I opened the kit I was impressed with your product, the quality of the machining, fit and funtion. What people have been saying is true they do just slip into place with no binding, but enough of that. They make my FJR1300 a true mileage muncher, before I had to stop every 40 mintues to walk around (bad back) but now with more upright seating position I can ride much longer in more comfort and the bike feels so solid in the front end now also. In closing I would like to thank you for making such a high quality product and the amount of pleasure it brings me. It is worth every dollar and then some.

Thanks for your HeliBars for my CBR 600RR 2007. I am an orthopedic surgeon and I knew that the cause of my neck pain was my fetal position on the CBR. Was about to sell my bike but then came across HeliBars on the net. I immediately ordered and got them in just 6 days. Installed them myself in about one hour without any difficulty. Well the difference is very obvious and that is positive comfort.

Today I realized that one should not purchase sports bike for outside track riding but a sports tourer. Luckily HeliBars have done the conversion for me.

I've had two Honda VFR Interceptors and on both bikes I've installed HeliBars. These bars make such a difference in my comfort and riding posture. As

5'6" female sometimes I have to modify the motorcycle to fit me. As a MSF instructor I use my personal motorcycle when teaching the Experience

Rider Course. These bars give me the leverage and riding posture I need to do some of the low speed tight maneuvers.

Wanted to mention that my 2007 GSX-R750 in stock trim was aggravating an old injury to my right writst. To ride it I had to wear a wrist brace and ice down my wrist after each ride, no matter how short the ride. After getting HeliBar replacement bars and installing them this issue disappeared totally. Riding in town is now fun. Riding the mountain 'twisties' is now a blast no matter how long and grueling the ride. Hanging off the side of the bike hunched down in a race position behind the fairing seems easier than with the stock setup. Moving the bike around on foot to turn it around or park it is easier too.

The Helibars are great for me. Feel free to share this with your folks there that designed the Helibar for this bike, well done.

I just finished installing my Heli Bars on my '06 GSXR 1000. What a difference! I am more comfortable on my bike and feel more in control as well. Install instructions were flawless (took about an hour). Ordering process was great, the lady that took my order over the phone was very helpful. Rarely am I this pleased with a purchase. I purchased a helibar riser for my ST1300 Honda. I was reluctant to pay the price for your product until I saw the quality of product. One other first class act was your acknowledgement of the entity in charge of this planet! (God Bless America) is worth seventy-five percent of the cost. Made in USA is also very important to me .... I'm 71 years old and still ride from California to Ohio to visit my sisters once a year . I just may make two trips a year now with the comfort the riser gives me . :)

I got the bars for my '07 Hayabusa yesterday and had them put on in about an hour and a half. I was starting to get used to craning my neck to see redlights and getting into the contortions to ride. However, I took my first ride with the HeliBars this morning and OMG what a difference! You should get more business because I have already told about twenty people just at the Suzuki shop. I can't wait to get a few days off of work to take a real ride. I'm convinced...and that's all I have to say about that. Thanks for the product.

Just installed your HeliBars on my Concours 14 and then took a 100 mile test ride. The repositioning by the adapters worked great. The change is very noticeable and relieved some of the pressure on my hands by moving me back just enough…The installation instructions were superb. Best I've seen from a manufacturer in years.

I just wanted to drop a quick line to tell you how much I like my new riser blocks for my new Concours 14. They make a HUGE difference in the comfort level while riding. I also feel that I have more control over my motorcycle in adverse conditions.

The instructions were clear and concise. I had previously made my own blocks (7/8" tall) but hadn't figured out the brake line issues so I could go higher. Bravo! You guys did it! Well done and thank you!

I just have to tell you how happy I am with the new Helibars I recently received for my 2006 FJR 1300. This is easily the nicest aftermarket component I have ever purchased for a motorcycle. The engineering and detail that went into the piece is obvious. I particularly love the forward thinking with the twin Ram ball mounts right on the unit. The instructions were also excellent with the pictures really helping with the installation. I love the new position of the bars and, as a result, the position I am now in when I ride. I love long distance riding and the Helibars really have added tremendously to the comfort factor. Thanks again!!

WOW, is all I can say about the HeliBars for my Hayabusa!!!!! They work so good, now all I wish for is for the rain to stop so I can hit the road again. They took all the wrist strain out and made it comfortable to ride for a long time. It is hard to believe that just about an inch and a half would make such a difference, but it did.

I just installed your Triple Clamp on my 2007 Yamaha FJR 1300, and could not believe what a difference in the ride and comfort. They eliminated 95% of the vibration. Before I couldn't ride 20 minutes without my hands going numb. I'm already for those all day trips. I had your HeliBars on my Honda VFR, and was totally satisfied, but this is well worth every penny. I bought a neglected Yamaha 2004 FJR in February this year.After my first few weeks of owning it I found out why it was neglected.Great bike but I didn't realize how painful riding would be on my hands,arms,neck and back with the stock setup.I bought several things to try and get some relief but nothing worked resulting in me just parking it in the garage frustrated just like the previous owner.After reading feedback from owners raving about your products in an online owners forum,I installed your HC1300R risers.OH WOW! Hello from Gary in Fairbanks, AK...about a year ago I installed a Tour Performance HR Triple Clamp on my '06 FJR1300A, and found it to be of high quality and perform better than advertised - no more neck and wrist cramps...I change bikes frequently and recently found a good deal on an '07 FJR1300A, and again I installed your fine product but this time with your HRT risers...the changeover was made easy with your complete instructions as it took just over an easy hour to complete...even a Caveman could do it!...quality and performance are better than before as the risers are the icing on the cake. Thanks again for the wonderful products from a first-class company.

I ordered a set of Heli bars for my 2006 GSX-R 750 K6. It is by far the best bike I’ve owned or ridden. But my only complaint was after about 50 to 100 miles, it was Advil time. My other bike is a R1100RS which you can ride all day. I wanted to make a few changes to the Suzuki so I could ride it more comfortably and for more miles but without compromising any of the sport and handling that makes me love the bike so much.

Truth be told, I could have written this letter on day one, the positive difference was immediately apparent. I have ridden the bike for a month and put over 1,000 miles on it, most on trips over two hundred miles, so I can say with even more certainty, Heli Bars are worth every penny!

First, my order was delivered very quickly – three days! When I opened the box, the Heli bars were a work of art. They are beautifully crafted, something you are proud to put on your bike. I had the dealer install them and everything fit as if Suzuki made the bars. I was worried about whether they would compromise the bike in any way. Not a problem. Unless you want a dedicated track bike, in which case you stick with the stock bars, you will love your Helis. My solution is to get a track bike, so in an off-handed way, I have to thank Heli Bars for that “improvement” too.

I am very, very happy I got Heli Bars. To any GSX-R rider with the same goals as mine, you will not regret the decision. I can also offer a few other suggestions: I got the factory GSX-R gel seat and installed a Zero Gravity double bubble. The seat really improves riding comfort and the higher screen is a good addition because you do sit up in the wind more with the Heli Bars. I have “tested” the bars and screen at highways speeds, and ahem, perhaps a wee bit more and they work. You also can tuck in better with the double bubble.

The Heli Bars are bar none (sorry for the pun) the best money I have ever spent to upgrade a bike. Thanks, Heli.

I purchased your bar risers for the Triumph 675 at your outrageous price and paid $100 to have them installed by my Triumph dealer. Guess what, best money I ever spent. People were saying, well, what's the difference. Then we parked a stock bike next to mine and they were astounded. I can't believe I ever rode mine around with the stock bars. Even went for a 150 mile ride last week; first time I've ever been able to do that.
Hasn't affected my ability to get around a corner or get low when I need to. Just a note to say:

It's amazing what a little rise can do for an old man...though there's not much you can do with the 14's stock bars. Hi Jaime,

I had a chance to ride with the Heli bars installed. It's amazing what a small adjustment can accomplish.
I didn't feel like my body had shifted very much, but it did feel like it took 50% off the weight on my wrists.
I found the bike easier to steer as well.

The VFR was designed to be a Sport/Touring bike and your bars helped it accomplish that task more effectively.

Just had the dealer install my Heli bars for my '06 CBR 1000RR last month and was immediately impressed when I opened the box. Packaging was excellent and the inclusion of the Galfer stainless lines was an unexpected bonus. The powder coat finish on these bars was fantastic. It looks like the bike came with them from the factory. After installation which took 2 hours (brakes and clutch had to be bleeded), I took her out for a nice 150 mile ride and what a difference it made. I purposely took it on the freeway as this is where I feel the discomfort in the wrists (not in the twisties) and there was none whatsoever. In this area, it's inevitable that one ends up on the highways and freeways to get to the nice mountain and back roads and this is where I would always hurt within a half hour of riding. I plan to take it out again as soon as the roads are better. Great product and would highly recommend it to anyone before they consider selling their bike due to ergo/wrist problems. Keep up the great work!

The bars fit perfectly and installation went exactly as your instructions directed. I think Yamaha should retain Heli to develop their steering systems !! I installed the HRT triple clamp over the Christmas holiday and I had the first ride out last week and i have to say it has totally changed our 06 FRJ .

The comfort for me is great and the slow speed control has vastly improved .

I would like to report that sitting on my FJR and grabbing the grips feels EXTREMELY better than the OEM handlebar setup. I am short and had other risers on the stock bars and triple clamps, and that was OK. Your HRT Triple Clamp is more than OK, it feels GREAT! And I think I may be able to get by without the additional risers! Well done, and thanks for providing such a beautiful part that really is a tremendous improvement over stock.

I recently purchased a 2004 Hayabusa Limited with 500 miles on the odometer. The Busa was owned by a man in his sixties who could not tolerate the extreme riding position. I got the bike for a very good price and rode it for 400 miles while waiting for my Helibars to arrive. The installation took about 90 minutes and went without a hitch. The bars do transform the bike into a much more tolerable street troller. The more upright position also unloads much of the weight from your thighs and makes the seat more comfortable. I only wish I had tried a set of your bars on my SV 650. Thanks for doing the engineering that the OEM's should have done in the first place.

I enjoyed having your bars on my BMW K1100RS. Last week a motorist decided to provide me with an immovable object to decelerate against. I hit the car doing about 25 MPH. Broke the triple clamp and many other parts (some on my body).

The reason for the note is that on impact the right bar rotated on its axis thus absorbing significant energy to keep my wrist from breaking. I believe a stock bar would have meant more broken bones.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your product and service.

I ordered a set in black, which I was told was not the standard color and that it would take about a week to get them. (Which I thought was more than reasonable)

I ordered them late in the day on April 27th and received them on April 29th. WOW!!

I just got done installing a Ducati ST3 kit on my bike and all I can say is "WOW!"

The quality of these parts is phenomenal. Perfect machining, perfect finish, perfect fit, perfect design - just beautifully done. Like I should have expected anything less from my homeboys back in my home state.

Your instructions are very clearly written and made the installation go very smoothly. The biggest issue I had was locating my rubber mallet to do the work.

I plan on dropping by and saying hi the next time I ride through on the way to Union to visit mom and dad. You folks are tops.

Every once in a while you come across a product that transforms a good design into a fantastic design. The ergonomically correct replacement handlebars developed by Heli Bars enabled me to enjoy a significant improvement in personal comfort. The extraordinary sport bikes we enjoy riding today are design driven to provide high performance with aerodynamics best suited for the high banks of Daytona. As they say what wins on Sunday sells on Monday. Unfortunately I do most of my riding on public roads near the realm of reality at speeds that do not require racers tuck. Well not most of the time. Riding 100 miles on the Ducati use to result in wrist and neck pain. With Heli Bars I typically ride 200 to 300 miles pain free. The quality of the fit and finish complemented with thorough instructions made the installation fun and easy. We all love to modify our rides. My name is Scot and I am a Sr. Police Officer in Fullerton, California. I recently purchased the Billet Bar Adapter by Heli for the Honda ST1300, which I setup for our department as the first enforcement ST1300 in the U.S. and wanted to let you know just how impressed the Motor Officers of my department are with the improved angles and comfort your product provides. So much so, that we will be installing them on several other ST’s that we will be outfitting in the next month.

Comfort and performance are extremely important to those of us who spend our workday riding motorcycles and the improvement over the stock setup from Honda is exceptional. After looking at some of the other risers and adapters made by other manufacturers, I decided to go with Heli based on the reputation and quality of product your company is known for. The adapter for the ST1300 allows us to sit in a more neutral, upright position, which will help save our lower backs that are already stressed by all the gear we must carry on our gun belts.

After 12 years of driving a variety of motorcycles, I thought the Honda Pacific Coast was a dream come true. But after a painful 2 months of shoulder and neck agony, I knew the bike needed a new owner. The handlebar reach and configuration were made for someone much taller than I was. Not learning my lesson, nine years later I decided to test fate by buying a Honda ST1300 for all the same sound reasons I purchased the Pacific Coast. I fell in love with the bike at the Jacob Javits Motorcycle Show this year in January. Fortunately, a Honda representative at the show told me about a company that manufactured custom handlebars in Cornish, Maine - the Heli Modified Corporation. Harry was able to custom manufacture an adaptor that brought the handlebars back and changed the angle of the hand position to a natural grip. He not only cured the excruciating neck and shoulder, but gave the bike superior handling abilities at all speeds. Thank you to the Heli Corporation and Tour Performance for an outstanding product and even after more than 1,000 miles in 2 months of driving, my customer satisfaction is greater with every ride.

I just wanted to drop a note to tell you how great my bike feels with new helibars. My wife and I were packed and ready to leave for a four hour trip to Rick Mayer Cycle for a new seat. The risers were delivered as we were putting on our gear. I was a little stubborn and wanted to install the product before we left. A short time later we were on the interstate and after a couple of hours I realized how much more comfortable the bike was. Instead of a slight reach, the bars were like a natural extension of my arms. Hand position was also much better. I can only describe the position as perfect!!!

... It must seem like you always receive this type of E-mail, but I just had a visit from my local UPS driver with a pair of your HB9820's (VFR800 '02-03). The directions were easy to follow and only took me about an hour to install and recheck the installation. Then the moment of truth, It felt like a brand new bike, no pain in the wrists and it gave me a better position on the bike, a much better sense of control. I had to force myself to end my test ride, then afterwards I had to come and drop you a line. I don't think I will ever be able to thank you enough for the product that is built in the USA and provided by your company.

I purchased a set of Heli Bars for my ST1100 recently and had them installed by my Honda dealer. I just want to let you know that they are truly of high quality, look as if they were factory installed, and have totally transformed the ride. I no longer get low back pain or numb hands after a long ride.

These bars are excellent! They arrived last week - within days rather than weeks - and fitted far easier than I'd been led to believe. The difference in comfort is amazing considering the actual difference measurement-wise doesn't seem that much. I thought they were a little expensive but having seen the quality and how they fit my VFR 750 so well - and look good - I now think they were worth every penny! My only worry now is that my annual mileage is now going to mean new tires more frequently!

I'll recommend them to everyone I know.

I installed your Heli Bars on my ’98 VTR Superhawk, and man what an improvement! Amazing. I’m 6’4”, and with the stock bars, my wrists and lower back were killing me. With the Heli Bars, my comfort has been vastly improved. No back pain. No wrist pain. My neck is less strained. I get off my bike now and I’m ready to get right back on….before I’d have to take a break to stretch and regain the feeling in my hands. It’s the best mod I’ve done. Thanks.

Just came back from a ride after having Heli Bars installed on my '01 GSXR 750. Wow, what a nice difference! The comfort and handling is much better. I had some doubts when I looked at the Heli Bars. It didn't seem like they would make such a nice difference. I am glad that I didn't attempt to change the bars myself, however. It was a bit technical and required a bit of finesse to deal with the throttle cables. They were a bit tight when wheel turned full lock to right and my mechanic was a little concerned at first. We determined that they were ok, however, and, don’t you know, the cables even stretched and loosened a bit during my 40 mile ride home. Any concerns about the Heli Bars looking strange are totally alleviated also. They look great. Thanks for making such a great product. I sold my touring bike and was concerned about taking the Gixxer on an upcoming 3k mile trip. The Gixxer will be fine for the trip now.

I recently had a set of Helibars put on to my GSX R1000, what a difference. I tested them out on a 200 mile ride, I had no pain in my wrists, or back. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any one who has the GSXR. I am planning on doing more touring this year and was going to sell the GSXR and replace it with a sport touring bike. Not anymore, I'm adding a gel seat, some soft luggage and hitting the road and you bars made it possible.

I was simply writing to send my gratitude toward your company and your products. I have been riding my 2002 GSX-R 750 for about two years now on the stock clip-ons and was very pleased. But then i started to hear talk about getting new bars and how much more comfortable it is and what not. I have to admit that i was a little skeptical at first, but i would have to say that it is the single most benefitial upgrade i have done to my bike thus far. “Keep the sportbike, lose the discomfort” is what I was hoping for regarding my Suzuki 1300 Hayabusa. After installing your Heli Bars I realized that your motto is PERFECT. I really, really enjoy riding this motorcycle, but the riding position was taking a lot out of me. The new position is a very big improvement! I commute on the freeways to work every day and really appreciate the responsiveness and power of current day sportbikes. That hunched over position disagreed with my 45 year old neck. Yes, I was planning on selling the bike, but that has changed since installing your product. I’m looking forward to telling my riding friends about your products also.

I just received the Heli Bars for my Limited Edition Hayabusa and had a blast putting them on. Excellent worksmanship and they went on with ease. I like the black powder coat which matches the bike. The riding position is now perfect! You still retain the sportbike attack position with more comfortable ergos. A definate must for any sportbike rider that wishes to really enjoy riding. Definately better than any other product on the market where you have to change cables and hydraulic lines not to mention taking the top of the triple clamp off for a spacer.

...Bars have been installed on my 1997 TL1000S and it’s like I have a new bike altogether. I simply cannot believe how much the bars change and improve the feel of this machine… Really, my TL now feels like my old RM125 with all the comfort and control that I had back them. I expected an improvement but certainly under estimated by how much. I was starting to think about moving on to another bike only because of my increasing need for comfort over performance – thanks for letting me rediscover the reason why I chose the TL in the first place.

I don't believe a customer has sat on the Thruxton without commenting on the position of the stock bars. Most of the interest in this bike is from the forties crowd. We knew we were going to have to do something to make this bike a little more midlife friendly. We found a number of different companies making various risers, but some were not even fully sorted out kits, and others were just plain too expensive. The Helis were exactly what we were looking for. Easy bolt on install, a perfect bar height for the bike and a price that doesn't make you feel like you have to apologize to the customer when you mention it. The groans have been replaced with smiles when our customers ride our demo Thruxton.

No question that the Heli-bar came to my aid during the long days of the 2003 Iron Butt Rally. In a long-distance rally, the shortest distance between two cities is irrelevant--to get from Nevada to Florida we head west to California, or going from Maine to Montana means a quick jaunt further northeast to Nova Scotia. There's only one way to put those miles on the odo--- after a long, long day of riding, you saddle up and ride some more. And that's when the Heli-bar earned its keep--the more neutral, slightly more upright position it afforded me on the sport-touring FJR1300 kept pressure off my wrists and lower back.

2003 Iron Butt Finalist

Recently I purchased a set of HELIBAR risers for my YAMAHA 2004 FJR1300 (great bike) from your company. They were simple to install (less than 30 minutes) and none of the original equipment had to be hassled with. They look great on the bike. But, the best part is what they do for the ride. What a great improvement on an already wonderful ride. What downward pressure there was on the palms (of the hands) is almost totally gone. Further, there is a very noticeable straightening of the back, which adds further comfort to the ride. I go out on the road for eight hours at a time with no fatigue. And I’m 55 yrs young. They are definitely worth the price.
